This funding is targeted to PhD students based in UK Universities and research centres to spend a period abroad visiting international collaborators. The bursary can be used to work on existing collaborative projects or to establish new collaborations. The application should briefly explain the context of the research (references could be added) and clearly articulate the benefit to the students within their PhD project. The funding can be used to cover travel and accommodation. VISA cost or any consumables are not eligible costs.

Assesment criteria
– Plan of work during the visit
– Appropriateness of the visit within the student’s project
– Any applications that do not fit within the remit of the CCP5 will be considered ineligible
– Priority will be given to student not enrolled in a CDT
– End date of the visit must be before September 2025.
